Measuring & Fitting Instructions
Draw a horizontal straight line on the outside face that the weather bar is to be fitted to. Equally mark out the 2 - 4 dependant on length chosen fixing screw positions along the line. Either drill a 3mm hole through the first skin of the door / window, alternatively with a battery screwdriver with a cross head tip you can drive the self drilling screws in. Slide the drip bar over the heads of the nipple head screws and set the drip bar centrally in position. For best results the bar should finish approx. 5-10mm from each end of the door frame when closed and the bottom of the drip bar should be about 15mm above the highest part of the bottom of the threshold that the door seals to when closed. This allows for any expansion or movement you may experience over seasons. The end caps can be held in place with silicone or superglue
Please check all measurements and suitability before ordering.
